Dual active valve control is valve-timing optimization technology that aids engine load by adjusting intake and exhaust camshafts.
The engine mates to a high-torque continuously variable transmission (CVT) with an eight-speed manual mode function. Paddle shifters on the steering wheel make it easy for you to engage with the vehicle and switch gear ratios to suit performance preferences. The Subaru symmetrical all-wheel drive (AWD) system features optimizing X-MODE® technology and hill descent control for maximum traction control on the road or when you’re heading down steep hills or declines.
